Accessing Your Channelyze Account

To access your organisation’s Channelyze account, someone who already has adminnistrator access to the account must invite you. They can do this by adding you as a user in the Organisation settings.

Once they do this, you will receive an email invitation to create a user account. The email you receive will contain a link for you to open and then specify a password that you wish to use when you want to sign into your account. The associated username that you will also be prompted for when signing in will be your email address.

Two factor authentication

If your administrator has enabled it, You can further protect your account by using two factor authentication (2FA). If this is enabled then once you have entered your email address and password into the sign in screen, you will be prompted for a 6 digit one-time code from an authenticator app that you install on your mobile device.

If your admin has enforced two factor authentication, then the first time that you login after 2FA has been enforced, you will be prompted to configure 2FA once you have successfully entered your email and password credentials. If your admin has enabled (but not enforced) 2FA, then you may optionally configure 2FA in the Settings tab of your profile page.

Configuring 2FA

If your account administrator has enforced 2FA, then when you next sign in successfully with your email address and password you will be shown a QR code that you can use to set up 2FA. Download the Google Authenticator app or the Microsoft Authenticator app or any TOTP compliant authenticator app onto your mobile device and follow the instructions for adding a new account. Using the authenticator app, you will scan the QR code to configure the new 2FA account in the authentication app.

The authenticator app will show a 6 digit password, which you must enter into the sign in page in Channelyze. If you enter the passcode correctly, you will be logged into Channelyze. Future sign-ins will require you to enter your email address and password as usual and then read the latest code from the authenticator app and enter it into the relevant field in the sign in screen.

If your account administrator has not enforced 2FA, but has instead just enabled it, you can optionally enable 2FA for your user account by switching on the Enable two factor authentication (2FA) in the Settings page of your profile page. You will be shown a QR code, which you must scan using an authenticator app that you install on your mobile device. You can download and use the Google Authenticator app or the Microsoft Authenticator app or any TOTP compliant authenticator app onto your mobile device and follow the instructions for adding a new account.

Once you have scanned the QR code with the app, you will be prompted for a 6 digit one-time code, which you can read off from the authenticator app. Once entered, the configuration is complete and future sign ins to Channelyze will require you to enter into the sign in screen the code shown in the authenticator app.
