Chanelyze Password Authentication

Channelyze password authentication is the default authentication mechanism for Channelyze. This integration is enabled by default. It is only possible to disable the Channelyze Password integration by specifically enabling the SAML Single Sign On (SSO) authentication integration.

Click on the Manage button in the Channelyze Authentication panel to configure this integration.


The only configuration option is for two factor authentication. Two factor authentication (2FA) provides an additional level of security beyond just a username/password combination.

There are three options for two factor authentication.

Option Description
Disabled Users are unable to enable 2FA and the configuration settings are hidden from them.
Enabled Users may optionally enable 2FA. They can do this from within the Settings tab of their profile page.
Enforced Users must sign in with 2FA. If they attempt to sign in with their credentials and they have not yet configured 2FA, they will be presented with instructions on how to do so in the sign-in page.

Users will need access to a mobile device and must install an Authenticator app, such as Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, Duo Mobile or any other widely available authenticator app that is compliant with the TOTP (Time-Based One-Time Password Algorithm) standard.
